Enhancing image quality
The digital system offers high 1200 x 600 dpi resolution, to deliver consistently high image quality for text and images. Include the network printing option and the resolution rises to 2400 x 600 dpi, with AIR smoothing technology. Optional PostScript and PCL emulations are available to maximise printing output, providing a truly professional finish.

Productive accessories
Innovative and space-saving finishing options include a built-in finisher offering full sorting and stapling functions. Or select an inner 2-way tray that separates out copies and prints. An ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) handles all originals smoothly. Plus the standard paper supply of 350 sheets, can be supplemented by up to three additional 250-sheet cassettes.

A clear, intuitive control panel ensures effortless operation at all times. The network printing option includes a remote UI (User Interface) for workgroups - delivering seamless handling of all print jobs direct from the desktop. - Canon Multifunction Printer Buyers Lab Awards 2010 WinnersAwards season in the world of office equipment is well and truly under way. The most eagerly awaited of all, is Buyers Laboratory Inc.'s (BLI) ‘Pick of the Year’ which have been announced over the last couple of days. It's clear, Canon's unprecedented research and development drive into improving the energy efficiency and environmental impact of its multifunction printers has really paid off. 5 different multifunction printer manufacturers were awarded with ‘Outstanding Achievement‘ for energy efficiency but only Canon laser multifunction printers were awarded more than one, in fact, make that 4 – quite unprecedented in both BLI's and Canon's history.
